  • GROWING UP WILD

    Growing Up WILD is an early childhood education curriculum that builds on children's sense of wonder about nature, and invites them to explore wildlife and the outdoor world around them.  Through a wide range of activities and experiences, Growing Up WILD provides an early foundation for developing positive impressions about the natural world and lifelong social and academic skills.  The Curriculum is written especially for early childhood providers of children ages 3 -  7 and includes over 400 ready-made thematic units on outdoor explorations, scientific inquiry, art projects, music and movement, conservation activities, reading and math connections!
    The included activity guide makes it easy to use the curriculum!

    This 8-hour course is CPR – Adult, Child & Infant and Pediatric First Aid training designed specifically for California State Licensed Child Care Providers and people seeking Child Care licensing in the State of California to satisfy the State requirement for 8 hours of special training in CPR & pediatric first aid that includes extra topics required by the State of California EMS Authority.Satisfies Title 22 requirements for CPR & First Aid Training’s requirements for Child Care Providers.

    Licensed center-based staff and family child care providers along with license-exempt providers in Amador & Calaveras Counties!     Universal Design for Living (UDL) is a teaching approach that aims to make learning accessible and inclusive for all students by reducing barriers and providing flexibility.  UDL is based on brain science and evidence-based educational practices, and it can also take advantage of digital technology.

    Kevin Schaefer, Director for Equity and Inclusive Practices - for the Supporting Inclusive Practices (SIP) Project, El Dorado Office of Education will guide us through Universal Design in Early Childhood Education.
