WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT GRANT

About Us

Through Quality Counts California (QCC) efforts, The Resource Connection Child Care Resource and Referral plays a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of the early childhood workforce pathways in Amador and Calaveras Counties by supporting providers actively employed in the early learning sector. 

Participants

Funding is available for both Amador and Calaveras County Early Learning Providers. Apply if you are:

• Head Start staff
• Private preschool staff
• Local family child care providers
• State preschool staff
• After school program employees
• License-exempt provider

Stipend Amounts

Please note that stipend amounts vary depending on what you apply for and your eligibility. If you are a new applicant, you will need to complete a W9. Please reach out to The Resource Connection if you have any questions or concerns.

You Can Receive Stipends For...

Tuition and Books

Early Education Professionals can request assistance for their early childhood education-related expenses. 

Academic Education

Stipends for completing coursework within or related to ECE

Child Development Permits & Credentials

Earn, maintain, or upgrade a child development permit.

ECE Mentorship Program

Participate in a mentorship program at a local college with completed on the job training hours.

Expanding License to Include Toddler, Infants, and/or Overnight and Weekend Care
Providers may earn a stipend for expanding their license to fill gaps.

Participant agrees to precipitate in data collection and use of Hubble database.  Participant agrees to provide program, site session, staff, and child data and verifications to be entered into Hubble as needed.
